The photo session fee is $600.00 plus tax. The session is edited to the best 105 images which you receive on proof sheets and includes two retouched images on CD. Over 200 images are shot, you get your proof sheets and two images on CD. A deposit of $150.00 is due one week prior to the session and can be applied to a rescheduled session only with 3 full business days notice. Digital sessions are stored in both "black and white" and color and so you can order your images either way.
For children under 16 who do NOT require a makeup artist, there is a special Children's Rate of $300.00 plus tax. You receive 60 images on proof sheets to choose from and one master image on CD are included for that fee. A deposit of $100.00 is due one week before the session. (The same terms apply for rescheduling as above.) Because of studio time involved, any shoot requiring a make up artist is automatically an adult session, regardless of the person's age
For women and teenage girls who need a variety of looks beyond the casual, natural children's style, a professional hair and make up artist can be a great asset. The makeup artist stays through the session and changes hair styles and make-up to give more variety to your shots. For example, a "commercial" look may be more subtle than an "upscale" or "dramatic" look. If you are good with your own make-up or have someone with whom you are comfortable working, that's great. If not, we can highly recommend our professional make-up artist, who is experienced with a variety of skin and hair types and knows the requirements of both black and white, and color photography. There is a separate fee for the stylist's service, due in cash on the day of the session. Generally, men and children do not need professional make-up, and any cosmetic "cover-up" or contouring will be done by us at no charge. Men are expected to style their own hair, and parents ordinarily do their children's hair as they would wear it to an audition.
Yes, whatever lighting or setting seems most appropriate to the tone of the shot is what we use. The studio is on the top floor and has both a sky light and roof access. Naturally, outdoor shots are weather permitting.
